As, Google already running many services, The one new launched few days ago in india - Send sms to mobiles.
Now, with the mostly used service Gmail with chat and call added sms function also.
So, it sounds amazing one Gmail account, and Four benefits, Email, Chat, Call and Sms.
You can send 50 sms to any number in the world. So, enjoy texting.
Process:
- Open or Create your Gmail account.
- At the left bottom pannel of your account you can see search, chat or sms.
- S, just type the number with std code and click on send sms.
- A box will popup with option to save this contact.
- Write the name of the contact and save.
- Now, you a popup window will appear at right bottom in the same page just like a chat box.
- Now you have 50 sms credit.
- Use it to text messages.
How to Add / Use Credits:
- Initially you'll get 50 Credits to send free sms to any number on any network in this world. But this credit can be increased if the receiver of the sms replies to your sms on the same number.
- Each Reply from the receiver =5 Credits
- Click on Gear box in the account and choose settings.
- In the settings pannel, Click on Labs.
- Search or scroll down for SMS (text messaging) in Chat.
- If disabled, enable it, and save changes.
- All done, Follow the above process.
- Enjoy texting.
