Things needed:
- Phone with windows operating system (Nokia, Samsung, HTC)
- Windows Pc. (XP/Vista/7/8)
- USB cable.
- Zune Software. (http://support.xbox.com/en-US/zune/software/download)
Steps And Screenshots:
First, Connect your phone with ZUNE as you always connect.
Press Win+R or Open run dialog box from start, and write regedit.exe and open it.
In the left pane of registery editor click -
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Enum > USB
Right click USB and click Find - Write ZuneDriver and find.
Select Device Parameters from left pane and edit three things in right pane.
In the right pane double-click the registry value called:
- EnableLegacySupport : Change its value from 0 to 1 .
- PortableDeviceNameSpaceExcludeFromShell : Change its value from 1 to 0 .
- ShowInShell : change its value from 0 to 1 .
"Now remove the Device you connected with zune and Re-insert It. You will find mass storage of device in My computer as Portable Device".
